Antique English Oak Barley Twist Draw Leaf Extending Dining Pub Table.

Almost square antique oak draw leaf dining table imported from England and dating back to the very early 1900's. This design of table is also known as a pub table.

The table top sits on top of 2 self storing leaves which pull out and the center drops down in the middle to extend the table with ease when needed.

It stands on a beautifully carved barley twist base with cross stretcher for added stability and support.

These tables are getting harder and harder to find. It is the perfect size to seat 4 people in a small breakfast nook and 6 to 8 people when extended.

The whole table has developed a wonderful golden oak aged patina with a slightly polished finish to the top and some areas of tiger oak. There is general rustic wear throughout but nothing really worth pointing out.

Over all this is a fantastic piece of old English country furniture which is in solid, sturdy condition with minor age appropriate flaws.

Length 34 1/4", extended length 57 3/4", width 35 1/4", height 30".
