Antique church pew bench, mahogany, upholstered, simple yet elegant in style and dating back to the late Victorian period C.1880.
Each end boasts a decorative carved panel along with scrolled arms and carved detail at the elbow and back top.
The back and seat are upholstered in a green fabric which is not original and is in good condition except for some fading on the back where it must have been stood in front of a window for some time. The padding underneath is still comfortable and the upholstery could easily be changed to suit your decor.
This fabulous find would look great in a long hall way or even at a dining table. It has developed a very nice, aged patina with some minor wear giving it a hint of rustic country charm. Over all it is in solid sturdy condition with age appropriate flaws.
