Antique English Arts and Crafts Pine Sewing Box Table.

This very cute table combines a primitive look with Arts and Crafts style with its simple lines and heart shape cut outs on each side.

The hinged top opens to reveal an open storage space and there is a small drawer below with compartments and a pin cushion.

The decorative trim on the outside looks like it is made of metal but it is actually ebonized wood. Some of the pieces of trim are broken or missing which I have tried to show in the pictures and as you can see it only adds to its hand made character and charm.

It is constructed of solid pine with a dark stain but not too dark to hide the beautiful aged patina. There is some very minor splitting on the left side but this does not effect it look or stability.

Over all this lovely piece of rustic furniture is in solid sturdy condition with age appropriate flaws.
