Large mahogany sideboard, imported from England and dating back to the very early 1900's.
It boasts an elegantly shaped break front combined with a bow front and stands on 4 large solid Queen Ann legs.
There are 2 drawers at the center with an open display area below. On each side there is a cupboard with an arched panel door which opens to reveal a roomy storage space with one shelf.
The handles on the cupboards are original. The ring pulls on the drawers are not original but they are old and suit the piece well.
There is some minor wear mainly to the legs and a surface scratch to the lower drawer which is shown in the pictures. There has been some movement in the wood on the bottom shelf inside each cupboard causing it to split slightly, however this does not effect its look and functionality. The top is in great shape with no rings or major visible marks. There are some light surface scratched to the top which can only be seen when the light reflects on it and is only normal in furniture of this age.
Over all this piece has developed a beautiful rich reddish brown mahogany patina. It is in solid sturdy condition with only very minor age appropriate flaws.
Dimensions: length 72", depth 26", height 38".
