Antique English Mahogany Pot Cupboard, Side Cabinet Table.- FREE SHIPPING-

Elegantly carved Mahogany pot cupboard, imported from England and dating back to C.1900.

You would never know that these kind of small side cabinets were originally used to store the chamber pot in the English Victorian and Edwardian bedroom. Hence the name 'pot cupboard'. This pieces now make great night stands or end tables.

This particular one is very elegantly carved with the center panel to the single cupboard door being stained in a lighter color adding a very nice contrast.

It stands on 4 turned spindle legs with an open display shelf below.

There is an ornate copper handle on the cabinet door which may not be original but suits the piece well.

There is some wear to the inside of the cabinet and general minor wear throughout the piece. The top looks like it may have been refinished at some point and there is a very faint ring mark on the top.

Over all this very pretty piece displays a beautiful aged patina and is in solid sturdy condition with only minor age appropriate flaws.

Dimensions: width 16 1/2", depth 13 1/2", table height 28", back height 30 3/4".
