Antique English Late Victorian Country Carved Elm Wardrobe, Armoire.

Beautiful country cottage style wardrobe with 2 pretty hand carved panels, imported from England and dating back to the late 1800's.

There are 2 drawers over one large drawer which provide a lot of storage. The single mirrored central door opens to reveal a large hanging space with hooks. The mirror is original and does show some minor signs of age with some faint streaking.

This piece has a worn country look with a yellowish golden glow and an aged patina which has really brought out the wonderful elm wood grain.

This is a solid, sturdy piece of furniture with only minor age appropriate flaws which only add to it's character and charm.
