Antique extending dining table, Victorian oval shaped solid mahogany, imported from England and dating back to the very late 1800's.
It stands on 4 fabulous chunky legs with unusual large pad feet and original casters.
It has 2 leaves and a fully functional wind out mechanism.
This was probably once a very formal table but with over 100 years of use it now has a more worn country look with a wonderful aged patina.
There is some general wear all over this table but mainly to the top edges, and there is some minor veneer loss and splitting to parts of the apron. I have tried to show the worst parts in the pictures and as you can see they only add to the character and charm of this beautiful Victorian table. Over all it is in solid sturdy condition.
Dimensions: length 50", Leaf width 10 1/2" each, width 42", height 28 1/2.
