Metropolitan Museum of Art - MMA 1976 Egyptian Revival Pendant

Featured is a vintage 1976 Metropolitan Museum of Art-MMA Egyptian Revival Pendant. Sold by MMA as part of the King Tut Egyptian Revival Collection exhibit launched in the 1970's, the pendant is composed of a rich gold-tone metal with a semi-textured, matte finish and symbols significant to the period. The square design measures 1 5/8 by 1 5/8 inches. The attached bale adds another 3/8 of an inch to the length. While the chain is not included, the possibilities are endless for making this piece really original for you own choice of chain. Since these pieces are from the 1970's, availability is limited and they are very collectible. Marked ⓒMMA 1976, this pendant is in perfect vintage condition.
