Victorian English Sterling Silver Sweetheart Brooch 1902
Fine antique sweetheart pin stamped for Birmingham England and date mark for 1902 according the Jackson's Hallmarks. The maker is J.R.F. which I don't find in the book.
The intricate work is noted with the forget me nots on with side of the two two hearts joined with a horseshoe for good luck. The hearts are chased with a fine detail and without names or initials. Well balanced design and perfect as a token of affection.
Measures approximately 1 3/4" long by 5/8" at the widest point.
The pin closure is an old fashioned hasp style and works very well.
Weighs 2.5 grams.
