Victorian faith hope & charity 10k gold heraldic Locket
Unusual Victorian gold locket with the symbols for faith, hope and charity in the design are the Greek letters Omega Tau Iota Omicron. The background is chased or stamped and surrounding the oval is ring of half circles. The reverse side is similar but has a heraldic emblem where initials would be engraved. There don't appear to have been any initials. Inside are the original photos that I found. Please view all the photos of the locket as I removed the rings to show you the inside is definitely gold. The grey areas around the interior are solder where it was put together. The rings appear to be brass and there are no covers for the photos.
Locket weighs 7 grams. Measures approximately 1 3/8" with the bail. Very good condition with normal wear for an antique locket. There are minor blemishes and they can be buffed if so desired.
Not stamped but acid tests very well for 10k gold.
