Sugar shell spoon sterling Wallace silversmiths No.43 1910

Offered is a lovely elegant sugar shell spoon in pattern called no. 43. This was first shown in 1910. It is a simple curved handle with an engraved line to emphasize the design. The shell is wonderfully has a distinctive shape. The condition is good for its age with light scratches in the bowl which could be buffed out if so desired. There is no monogram.

The hallmark shows the RW with a stag's head and the letter S and is stamped sterling. The spoon measures approximately 5 3/4" long and weighs 29.8 grams.
