Primitive winter farm scene oil painting

Offered is an oil painting of a farmhouse set in winter landscape with snow over the fields. In the foreground you see a woman on a bridge crossing the swollen creek. The trees lend a desolate quality to the scene but the background of the large farm house shows smoke rising from the chimneys. There is brush along the creek and on either side of the house. The cirrus clouds are moving across the sky which is grey and rather foreboding.

The brushstroke work is quite fine and there is almost a surreal quality of the midwest presence in the painting. It measures about 23 1/2" by 8" and is canvas on board. It has not been touched and is in good condition with the exception of a crack about 1/2" in the bottom left corner. The frame is much newer. There is no signature that I can see.
