Antique sherry decanter label British sterling 1873
Offered is a Victorian sterling silver decanter label. It is dated for the year 1873-74 with the letter S, has the monarch's head and the left facing British lion for London. The maker's mark is a square with TP above ER and according to Wyler's Old Silver, this was listed in about 1783 for Phipps and Robinson.
The condition is very nice for being over one hundred years old. It measures about 7/8" wide by 1 11/16". Weight is 9.5 grams.
