Terra cotta antique Architectural corbel

Terra cotta antique Architectural corbel

Offered is one of a pair of corbels from the Koch Mansion in Burlingame, CA. The house was built in 1911 for the newlyweds and the scene of many lively parties. During a long period of decline deterioration occurred and the corbels were taken down for earthquake safety.

There are two (2) corbels but I have separated them for shipping reasons. Each weighs approximately 42 lbs.. Measurements are approximately 14" by 8 1/2" wide by 8 1/4" depth.

The style is neo-Gothic as the house was influenced by European architecture.
