Victorian brass carriage step
Offered is a relic of the past used by ladies to climb into their carriages. The carriage step is brass plated and very heavy. It is ornate with thick curvilinear legs, large movable handles on both sides, flat top which graduates. The sides are openwork scroll design perfectly matching the style. On the back are rounded legs which are substantial and nicely turned.
It is in good condition for its age. I show pictures of the top and the underside which show the wear normal for the type of use it would have had. This has so many possibilities as a decorative useful piece.
Measures approximately: Top = 18 1/2" by 13 1/2" Height = 16" Weight = 22 lbs.
This will have to be double boxed.
