Offered is a lovely old ring with an amethyst in a crown setting. The design is engraved and simple with aesthetic elements. The amethyst is an oval and measures approximately 1 carat. It is not stamped for gold but acid tests very well for 10k gold. The stone has scratches and wear so has been priced accordingly. I viewed it with a 30x jewelers loupe.
