Arts & crafts grain measure copper

Offered is an exquisite handmade copper and wrought iron grain measure. I have called it a grain measure but it is possible it was used as a coal scoop for the fire. The copper scoop was hand hammered and has a fine detailed pie crust edge all around. It even has two interesting raised quarter rounds at the edge. The handle is wrought iron also hand hammered and is finished with a pigtail to hang it by.

The condition is very good for its age. Measures approximately 24 3/4" long by 8" at the widest point and 3" deep.

Weighs about 2 lbs.
