This is a charming pink covered candy dish from the Indiana Glass Co. "Diamond Quilted" or "flat diamond" was produced in the late 1920s- early 1930s. The diamond pattern is pressed on the inside of the glass so that the outer surface is smooth. Three square pressed feet are impressed with diamond shapes and hatch marks on the bottom of the feet. One of the feet has the smallest of chiggers on the bottom. The slag has a has a ridge line and some very small bubbles, but are a part of the manufacturing process. The lid has a lovely finial for a handle. The dish is 6.5" across and 5.5" high.
