Tall Chinese Statue of Lan Chai Hi - 11 3/4" Tall

This figurine represents Lan Ts'ai-ho ,LAN Cai He. Known as the strolling singer.

Lan Chai He - His direction is Northwest and his element is metal. He is the youngest of the Eight Immortals. His symbol is a magical basket of flowers, which consists of 108 flowers, plants, and branches from trees associated with longevity, such as the chrysanthemum, peach blossom, pine and bamboo. He is a symbol of wisdom, strength and prudence, and is also a friend of the crane. Having him in your home help brings joyousness and attracts beautiful people into your life.

He is known as the Seventh Immortal Lan T'sai Ho,Lan T'sai Ho, often shown wearing blue robe and carrying a basket of flowers. This immortal brings luck to young women.

This figurine is signed with an impressed China mark, the name of the company and the #5. Made in the 20th century.
