13 l/2" Tall Harrach Vase Painted by Josef Pfohl C 1880's

This exceptional rare vase was made by the Bohemian glass company Harrach and this vase was painted by Josep Pfohl. If you need to see similar examples of Josef Pfohl work please see page 53 of Collectible Bohemian Glass by Robert & Deborah Truitt.

This footed vase was made in two pieces - the bottom a goblet and the top a cylinder vase and were attached together with a strip of glass going across the glass. A one inch strip of the attachment strip is missing. However, since this vase is so unique and rare this should not detract from its beauty.

The picture is of a warrior lady with a gold helmet. Please see picture for more details. This is a raise enameled painted item and the painting is superb. This item is being priced at a fraction of its worth because of the one inch strip of glass that is missing.

I have another similar vase and it will be listed separately.

This vase has no other missing parts, cracks, or repairs.
