This is an rare carved chinese figurine. This figurines is signed China on the back of the statue and also on the back on the stone base. The detail on this carving is crisp and clear indicating a high standard of carving. This item was imported to the U.S. between 1891 and the early 1900.

The height with the base is a little under 9 inches. No breaks, repairs or restoration. Very unusual to find a chinese hardstone carving signed "China" - usually found on Chinese porcelain of this era.. This item comes from a Florida Estate.
