EAPG George Duncan Ellrose Brides Bowl - Rare Color, Rare Item

This EAPG brides bowl is a rare find in a rare color (amber). Called by several names such as Paneled Daisy and Button, Ellrose and when found with a yellow stain called Amberette. This pattern was made in several colors - uranium, blue, crystal, crystal w/yellow stain and crystal with red stain. It has never been documented in amber before and I have never seen a bride's bowl before either. This is a unique and rare find. The glass is made in a 4 part mold.

Made by George Duncan and Sons in the 1880 and by U.S. Glass in 1891 when Duncan became a member of U.S. Glass.

The brides bowl is about 11 inches wide and the base about 4 inches. No chips, cracks or repairs.
