Austro Hungarian Bracelet With Citrine Stones & Natural Seed Pearls
The wire set seed pearls encircle the largest central citrine stone and decorate the two smaller citrine stones which flank the center medallion. The seed pearls are protected from wear as they sit on the top of the wrist when the bracelet is worn.
There are a total of seven citrine stones in all. The largest central citrine stone measures 24.38 mms by 18.89 mms. The six smaller citrine stones graduate down in size from 16.49 mms by 11.19 mms to 13.22 mms by 10.70 mms. The bracelet itself measures seven inches in length excluding the tongue of the clasp. It is 1 5/8ths inches wide at it's widest central point.
There is no damage to report. The condition of this beautiful piece is "excellent". There are no missing seed pearls, and none of the citrines are chipped, nicked or cracked. The citrines are nicely matched for even color as well.
This is a fine example of intricate and labor intensive craftsmanship which was executed during the elegant Edwardian era, Ca 1900-1910, in the Austro-Hungarian region. These pieces are highly sought after by collectors.
This lovely and elegant bracelet is worthy of a good collection.
