Victorian Child's "Lamb Of God" Coffin Handles & Hardware Very Rare
Circa 1870, rare and beautiful set of Victorian child's coffin handles. They are made of Spelter, a mixture of metal alloys and used frequently in the Victorian period. They are plated in an antique gold finish and feature a raised relief lamb on the throne of God. Note the large two piece set, the lamb is looking back, over his shoulder. The large handle measures 3.25" tall and 2.25" across. The smaller, one piece handle measures 2.5" tall and 2 5/8" across. The small ones are stamped with the style no. 86 on the back and the large one with the no. 140. They are in great vintage condition. Please email us with any questions. Thank you for looking!
