Vintage Large Art Deco Gold Plated Sterling Silver Brooch Pin
This is a stunning Art Deco look and period brooch made of sterling silver with a gold-plate vermeil finish. It is designed with leaves and curled folds with a prong set deep sapphire Asscher, (oval), shaped rhinestone accent. The pin weighs .51 troy ounce, has a stamped raised plate on the back saying, "STERLING". The pin measures 4" long and approx. 1 3/4" wide. This would be beautiful on a coat or suit lapel also on those fall and winter sweaters. There is some wear on the vermeil, nothing you wouldn't expect from a pin from the 1930's. Most of the wear is on the back of the pin. It has a long pinback and is just a true beauty! Thank you for looking.
