Set of Old Album Photographs - Hampton Court Palace London-Home of King Henry VIII

Fascinating set of B&W English photo's of Hampton Court Palace, London, England, taken around 1940. During the 1500's this was the home of the infamous Henry VIII, father of Elizabeth the First, wed eight times, partial to having peoples heads chopped off, unfortunate for some of his wives. This set was purchased from "Her Majesty's Stationary Office, London" and the original price was three shillings. The images measure 4" by 3" and have the subject of each printed on the back. They are: The Great Gatehouse (early 16th Century) Anne Boleyn's Gateway (early 16th Century) The Fountain Court (early 17th Century) The King's Staircase Tudor Fireplace The Palace The Chapel Royal The Maze The Sunk Garden The Canal The King's Guardroom FREE SHIPPING within US
