Gorgeous Vintage Red Lacquer Cinnabar Box - Birds - Unusual Shaped Box

Wonderful vintage red cinnabar box on a subtle scalloped edge and lovely birds and branches design against an intricate geometric background. The box is a very nice and larger than many, measuring 5-1/4" wide by 2" high. Black lacquer interior. No marks. Overall lovely condition. I see one minute crack in a branch but I see no missing sections. I've provided many photos for your examination. Really exceptional example of this classic decorative item.
