Lovely Large Antique English Sterling Silver and Cut Crystal Vanity or Dresser Box
This wonderful antique rectangular cut crystal covered box with sterling silver lid features elegant lines with a shield design in the center of the lid. The hall marks indicate it is from the late 1800's from the silversmith Allen Domini of London and Birmingham.
In excellent vintage condition, especially for its age and function, this box measures 7 inches by 1 3/8 inches. The sterling silver lid weighs 58 grams. It is a lovely find, to be sure, in terms of size, condition and fine craftsmanship.
