Lovely Early 1900's Limoges, France GDA Hand Painted Signed Biscuit Jar
This beautiful porcelain signed biscuit jar by Gerard, Duffraisseix and Abbot is beautifully hand painted and signed "HS" near the lower edge. White petunias against a softly mottled green background make this a lovely piece. The painting style has an almost water color quality in appearance that is skilled and visually captivating.
In excellent vintage condition, it measures 5 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches and is marked "GDA France" on the bottom (c.1900-1941.) This is a lovely find for those who prize early 1900's hand painted porcelain from Limoges, France.
