Stunning Vintage Royal Crown Derby (England) Signed Porcelain Hunting Plate
This wonderful vintage plate from Royal Crown Derby of England has a mark that dates it mid century. In excellent vintage condition, it is signed T. Barlow. This is from a long time series by the maker and of all the scenes I have seen, this is my personal favorite. This painter, who did the coloration, was very skilled. (I personally prefer this dark green border as it frames the rich reds of the hunting jackets.)
The plate measures 10 3/8 inches in diameter and is decorated with gadroon accented with gold gilt. Again, this plate is in excellent condition and we are pleased to offer it for your consideration.
