Two Vintage Handpainted Italian Glass Covered Pedestal Bowls with Applied Porcelain Roses

These beautiful Italian covered glass pedestal bowls are exquisite and in excellent condition. Beautiful hand painted greenery accents the fabulous applied yellow roses on a back ground of forest green.

The frosted clear stems, feet and finials accent the rich green of the bowls and covers. They measure 11 and 8 inches high, respectively. The large bowl is 6 inches in diameter and the smaller is 4 inches in diameter.

The larger one has a sticker that reads "S.I.A.N. Cristallerie, Made in Italy." For something gracefully beautiful, this pair meets all the criteria for that special accent. I believe them to be mid century and a lovely example of their genre.
