Vintage Alafoss of Iceland 100% Wool Sweater. Icelandic designs. Deep rose & white. NWT!

Icelandic knitwear is famous for its quality. The knitting pattern of the knit sweaters is very traditional to Iceland, and both men and women wear them to work or as sportswear.

The characteristics of the Icelandic wool are unique. It has two types of fibres: Inner fibres - Fine, soft, highly insulating, and Outer fibres - Long, glossy, water-repellent. Together, these two distinctive fibres create wool that is: lighter than most other wools- keeping you warm and comfortable, water-repellent - repels rain and stays feeling dry and breathable - moisture passes through the fibres away from the skin, keeping you dry and comfortable.

This sweater has Icelandic designs and is brand new with its original tags. It even has the little brush (still in its packaging) to maintain the original texture. It is recommended that occasional brushing, using short downward strokes, will remove piling and loose dirt.

It is styled without set in sleeves. They are in a batwing style. It is extra long with applied cuffs, border and neck bands. The color is old rose and white.

Measurements: Nape to bottom - 27", from cuff to cuff across - 59". bottom band - 3", cuffs - 2 ½". bottom band, unstretched - 34". It is labeled size Medium. Depending on whether you like your sweaters loose or snug, this sweater will fit a range of sizes.

Condition: Mint, gift-giving condition! New with tags, unused.
