I believe this pink, depression glass, cruet is hand-blown. It is a slightly deeper pink than most pieces and has a sharp pontil mark on the bottom and an applied handle. It is beautifully designed with a scalloped body above a smooth rounded baseand is elegantly tall and slender.
The cruet stands 7 ½" tall to the top of the stopper and has a base diameter of approx. 3 ½" .
Condition: Mint, gift-giving condition. It may or may not have a fleabite chip where the handle joins the body on one side. It may just be the way the handle is joined slightly imperfectly, as a handmade piece of glass would be. The inside neck where the stopper enters, again, has a rough edge as though hand finished.
This is a rare piece, as, indeed, it would be, as a handmade creation.
