Miniature Empire Style Portrait Painting on Ivory Signed Dimare
This is an original miniature portrait painting on ivory of a lovely young woman in a classic Empire gown with a brooch at her shoulder and a tiara on her head.
Signed to the right with the name Dimare.
It is unframed but includes the original paper backing that is stamped Made in Italy.
Measurements: almost 2-1/2" x 2"
Excellent condition. There is a small piece of tape on the back of the ivory. This held the paper backing in place at one time.
The painting will be shipped in a box to insure a safe delivery.
