1904 Antique Stereoview Japanese Children of the Enlightened Rule Feast

This wonderful historic antique stereoview card from Underwood & Underwood Publishers features a group of Japanese children eating their lunches while seated on mats. The card is titled Children of the "enlightened rule", celebrating the feast of their first Emperor, Jimmu, 660 B.C., Japan. The photos are copyrighted 1904.

The back reads – (31) Japan, Reference (School Position).

The children in the foreground all appear to be girls in individual kimonos. The boys are toward the back near the flags.

Standard size.

Condition: very minor edge wear, a number on the front in the upper right corner in pencil and another on the back in pen. Non-smoking home. No funky smells.

The card will be shipped in a box to insure safe delivery.
