Vintage Chinese Foo Dog or Shishi Lion Enamel Gold Wash Body
This fantastic Chinese Foo Dog or Shishi Lion features a gold washed mesh body with a rotating head. A front paw sits atop an openwork ball. He is detailed with glass enamel in green, blue, and white.
This is a small figurine at 1-3/4" tall x 1-5/8" long.
Excellent condition. He has not been polished so there is some tarnish and verdigris. The bead/ball moves easily so it must be adjusted in order for him to stand up properly.
