Pair Victorian Sterling Open Salt Cellars with Heavy Repousse Work
Each is stamped with the English lion passant representing the silver content, the lion head for the city of London, the Victoria head duty mark used for the years 1838-1890, the maker's mark, and the date letter.
The pieces match with typical minor artistic and hand made variations. Yet, one carries the maker's mark for Robert Harper and the date letter for 1862 and the other is marked for Daniel & Charles Houle 1864.
They measure 1-1/4" high.
Excellent gently-used condition. Jeweler's scratch marks on the undersides.
