Antique Coin Silver Spoon Charles C. Shaver of Utica, New York

This antique coin silver flatware piece is a fiddle front tipt spoon hallmarked CCS for Charles C. Shaver a Utica, New York silversmith circa 1850-55. It is also stamped with the retailer's name WMS Taylor.

The handle is hand monogrammed M.C. and includes a couple of very small flourishes.

The teaspoon measures 5-3/4" x 1-1/4" across the bowl. Weight 17.5 grams.

Condition: tiny ding in the bowl; typical surface wear, rubbing, and scratches.
