Vintage Folk Art Coconut Shell Box with Carved Leaves & Vines
This vintage folk art box is made from a full coconut shell accented with applied coconut shell leaves and curling vines. It sits safely on a small wood ring base. The shell is a deep rich color enhanced by a varnish finish.
It measures 4" high x 4-1/2" wide.
Excellent condition. Some remnants of old glue used to hold the leaves in place – most noticeable along the edge of the box opening. The glue can be easily chipped off. Non-smoking home. No funky smells.
