An amazing original love token, this 1893 American quarter is a remembrance of the Battle of San Jacinto and the state's independence. It is hand engraved with the date of the famous Texas battle April 21st 1836 above the words Souviens-toi de San Jacinto. The 60 year anniversary date across the lower edge July 5th 1896.
The coin measures just under 1" in diameter.
