Dark Brown Bakelite Bangle Bracelet Deeply Carved Twist Pattern
A beautiful vintage bangle, this round Bakelite bracelet has an all round deeply carved twist pattern. The color of this early 1940s Bakelite is a bit difficult to correctly identify. It is quite dark and best described as a brown with a hint of reddish cast.

The plastic has been tested and smells strongly of formaldehyde when simply rubbed a bit with my finger.
It measures approx 7-3/4" around the inner circumference, 2-1/12" inner diameter, 3/8" (9mm) at the thickest.
