Sterling Kentucky Derby Style Julep Cup Trophy Raised Horse Head
This fantastic sterling silver julep cup has an applied raised Kentucky Derby style horse head on the front above the engraved words Detroit Race Course 6-8-60. The back is engraved Tiorni, by Airrate, Out of – Novelty – Jocopa, Owner Mrs. Myron Williams, Houston, Texas.
The trophy cup measures the standard 3-3/4" tall x 3" in diameter across the mouth. Weight 118.8 grams. The underside is marked with the Webster name and hallmark, Sterling, 8555.
Condition: some faint spotting on the silver, dark tarnish inside on the bottom (couldn't reach it properly for a good polishing). No dents or dings.
