Massive Early Navajo Ring Sterling Green Turquoise and Coral

This massive early Navajo man’s ring has a pair of green turquoise stones and a piece of branch coral set in hand serrated bezels. The turquoise is clearly unaltered and carries some natural inclusions – matrix and quartz. One side of the ring has a large overlapping element with classic Native American stampings. The body of the ring is a large single cast piece of silver.

The top portion of the ring measures approx 1-3/8” long x 1” wide. It stands up 3/8” over the finger. It is a size 11. It weighs a seriously hefty 47.3 grams.

There are no marks on this early ring but it has been acid tested and it is sterling silver.

Some typical minor wear to the ring band. Some minor tarnish.
