This beautiful antique Victorian sterling silver over-cup tea strainer by Geo. W. Shiebler & Co. features a lightly gilded leaf shaped bowl with ruffled edges and detailed veining. The vine-like handle is curls over itself.
The overall length is near 4-5/8". The bowl is 2” wide x over 1-1/8” at the deepest.
The back of the bowl is hallmarked with the early winged Shiebler hallmark, Sterling, 2780.
Excellent condition with some minor tarnish and minor fading of the gold wash.
