Antique Victorian Deer Hoof Pin Cushion with Velvet
This antique Victorian pin cushion is made of a cleft hoof with greenish-gray velvet cushions. Likely, this is a deer hoof.
The cushions are plump and full - pins can be inserted and they stand up properly. They seem to be stuffed with something rather grainy like sawdust or wood chips….
It measures approximately 1-3/4” high x 2-1/8” wide x 2-1/2” deep.
Condition: typical hoof wear, some rubbing to the velvet pile. Non-smoking home. No odd smells.
