19C Delightful French Spill Vase with Bronze & Enamel Mount
This elegant spill vase is coming from France and made during the reign of Napoleon III, ca. 1870.
The vase has amazing shape. The base is made of bronze and decorated with wonderful enamel, a fine Champleve work – as always French do. It has the shape of a flower with many petals. The enamel patterns are floral and have beautiful ivory, blue and turquoise color.
To the top a fine cut crystal goblet. The goblet is lovely faceted, the rim shows the same scalloped model like the bronze base.
The condition is very good. The crystal goblet is intact with no chip or hair. The enamel is good preserved with slightly ware.
Marked to the base.
