Superb Tea Caddy Rosewood and Pearl Inlay ca. 1850

This beautiful tea caddy is made of rosewood and has amazing floral inlays made of Mother of Pearl to the top. The wood has a rich patina and beautiful grain.

The condition is very good; a very small MOP inlay to one edge is missing and there are some fine age cracks to the veneer.

Lock and key present. The key is not the original one; it is only for show and does not work.

Measurements: 4.8 x 3.6, 3.8 inches in height.
