Majolica Plate Strawberries Sarreguemines France about 1920

This very decorative majolica plate is made by the French manufactory Sarreguemines about 1920.

This plate has a fabulous honey tan color and is decorated with leafs and crisp strawberries. Fruits and leafs are extremely fine, raised and naturalistic modeled. I am not a botany expert, but I think the leafs are strawberries leafs.

The colors are vibrant and very good preserved. On back side there are holes for a hanging cord.

Pressed manufactory mark to the base, Sarreguemines and some numbers, I can decipher 124062. The condition is very good, no damages. Charming crazing of the glazing. Diameter: 7.6 inches.
