19th Century French Holy Water Stoup Green Marble and Enamel

A beautiful piece as always French Artist during the reign of Napoleon III have done. This holy water font is dated about 1880.

The green marble cross is fixed on a brass plaque. The marble has beautiful amber shadows. Cross and water stoup are made of brass and decorated with colorful enamel motifs. Intricate floral motifs in various colors: burgundy red, blue and white.

The condition is very good, just a little bit wear to the enamel of the stoup. A few flea bites to the marble edge.

Measurements: 7.6 x 4.4 inches.
