Briar Wood Pipe ca. 1920

This is an interesting old pipe. The bowl is made of briar wood (Bruyere Garantie) and shows a fine tree bark hand carving. The lid is made of sheet with volute and a small horn knob to the center. The steam is made of horn.

The pipe is used and not cleaned.

The condition is good to very good, tiny bite traces to the mouth and oxidation traces to the lid.
